White as Snow
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow Psalm51
Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “ Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. Isaiah 1
In Scripture we see that we shall be as white or whiter then snow.. Yet have you ever taken the time to study the whiteness of snow.. Over the last few weeks the Lord has been using the snow to teach me many things..
We all know that Jesus Righteousness covers us and it is through His blood that we are washed whiter then snow.. Now when the Lord sent me on my quest to look deeper at the snow from an individual snowflake to a blanket of snow.. Oh how wonderful our Lord is for this is what He revealed….
When you take a close look at snow you will see each flake is really not white but a clear crystallize form of water.. So what makes it look so white.. It is the way the Light reflects through it.. Each individual snowflake absorbs the Light of the sun within it and reflects the light out in great intensity.. (That is why there is snow blindness) He also showed me how when there is total darkness that the snow no longer is seen as white.. In fact if you took all light ways the snow no longer reflects light thus make the darkness even darker..
It was here that the Lord placed upon my heart. We are each like a snowflake.. Each of an individual never two the same.. When we allow Jesus the Son of God to be absorbs into our very core then His light will reflect out of us with such intensity.. His Light changes us from the inside out and we will be whiter then snow, thus attracting others to the beauty that He has created within us, bring them out of the darkness so that they can absorb the Love of Jesus within them..
Oh Lord please continue to shine through your Children so that each one of Your precious snowflakes may reflect Your light in this dark world, so those that are seeking to find You will find You in each one of your Children..
I hope this makes sense, my heart has so much to share.. God bless you all..
