Persecution

May 30, 2011
We are to rejoice when we are persecuted.. For if we are persecuted for our love for Jesus then we are following Him.. We are to pray for those who are being persecuted and rejoice when we are..For our persecution is our testimony of faith to Jesus and a testimony of Our Father’s Faithfulness.. Many are being persecuted in the flesh, some emotionally and mentally by family and friend most of all we are all being persecuted by the evil one for just placing our trust in the Lord..

Persecution for the Word is going to be with us till Jesus Return and scripture tells as the time grow near the persecution will grow and become more abundant..

Yet Persecution is also what purifies and strengthen one faith and trust in the Lord.. It through persecution that many of our seeds of love for our enemy is sown.. For how could we show that we love our enemy if there is no moment to present it self..

Remember what Jesus said at the mount..

“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” ~~Matthew 5..

So let us rejoice and be glad for we are blessed when we are persecuted and pray for those who are that they will recieve the strength and endurance to see this as a blessing and Praise Him during their persecution..

And let us not fool ourselves for the time is approaching when persecutions and tribulations will be more abundant as the shifting of the wheat begins..

For those who have received the word with hearts that are hard like stone, will not prevail through the trials and persecution..

“These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble” ~~ Mark 4

Persecution is not a bad thing Spiritually it is the purification and strenghtening of the Body of Christ as well…

I will stand firm in Jesus and rejoice in my trials, tribulations and persecutions..
