Obama or Romney; Who Does God Wants You To Vote For?

October 10, 2012

As the American Presidential Race, runs it last lap of campaigning, we see all the tricks of the trade being pulled out as lies (exaggerations) start to become more ramped and prevalent.. As race and religion become a back bone structure of who one should vote for.. The Debates are watched, replayed, and broken down as the experts and fact finders put each of the candidates (Obama and Romney) under their microscope as they judge their words actions and hearts to find who would be the better leader for the country called United States of America.

I have heard many of God’s children speak about the election, as they find the candidate that best speaks to their desires and issues of importance for them and their country. Many show their support for the candidate of their choice because of the political platform that has been presented before them.. I have watched many of God’s Children walk around with blinders on because of the half truths and lies others have told them about the candidates. They are being fully accept because of respected and admiration for the one sharing the information, instead of people seeking the truth on their own..

There are some that proclaim that God does not want a non-believer to be in office, while other will state that God does not want a person who made large profits off the murder and disposal of aborted fetuses Yet throughout scripture we see where the Lord has used non Believers to reign over His people for His Purpose for example when the Israelites were taken into captivity and brought to Babylon or David who murdered for a profit (wife) and sent Uriah to his death so that he could have Beersheba . Yet God had both these men one a non believe and the other a murder reign over His children for a time and a purpose..

There is one thing as God’s Children that we must remember, and Scripture reminds us is that God raises up and brings down the leaders of this world..

“And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding..” Daniel 2

But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.. Psalm 75

God already knows who will be leader for He has appointed his time before the foundation of the world… We also must remember that certain types of leaders must be put into place for the fulfillment of Prophecy.. Now here a challenge for His children, are you going to vote with God or against Him?

The only way that God’s children will know who their Heavenly Father want them to vote for is through personal prayer, supplication and for some fasting. One must meditate upon the Word of God, seek His wisdom and understanding and let Him lead them to the Truth.. For no man knows the hearts of the candidates, only God does.. No man know who is truly lying except Our Lord and no man knows who is to be in power only Our Heavenly Father does

Now is the time He want His Children for each one personally come to Him, seek His wisdom and understanding as we are in the last days. Days which are filled with deception and only Jesus can open our hearts and minds to the truth and the will of Our Father. So I beseech each of God’s Children take a moment, step back, stop listening to the world as to who should be the leader, and do not get caught up in their propaganda. ..There is only one side that matters and it is God’s. Now is the time for one to fall upon their knees and seek who He wants you to vote for and remember to Trust Him and not your own understanding for we only are able to see the immediate future where God sees all..

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3

Before you vote this November please please seek God’s wisdom and vote according to how He leads you. For the world’s ways are not His ways. And no matter what one says to you, vote as the Lord has convicted your heart to vote (not as the world’s views or persuasion does) do not let the evil one fill you with doubt or hesitation for you will be doing the Will of Our Father if you seek His face, for wisdom and understanding and vote according to how He leads you..

Remember voting is a personal matter and should be between you and God not as other see or think you should vote. Let God determine who you should vote for.

I hope this makes sense for it is hard for me to share what is upon my heart. May the Spirit of the Lord guide you all into His Wisdom and understanding.. God bless you all and I like to leave you with this last piece of Scripture to meditate on..

“Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days. There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand.” Proverbs 19

Now is the time to Go into prayer and seek the council of the Lord..

I agree with you that we should be praying regarding this election (my prayer is that the Lord would give us a godly leader). However, one should look at the candidates actions and words before casting a vote. You mentioned the abortion issue; this is huge. Also, same-sex marriage, Israel and socialism (which is the economic structure for communist societies) are other major issues that one candidate has extreme views on. God gives us the wisdom to make choices, and when one sees the stark differences between the two candidates, it really shows a clear choice.

Thank you Scott for your comment.. I must first tell you that I am a unbiased observer from another country and this was placed on my heart to write as I watched my friends and family who live in the US debate over who is better for the country.. You are correct that words and actions can speak volumes but we must remember their recent and past words as well as actions are put through many filters (campaign staffers, media stations, others opinions) before we see or hear about them. In reality we only get to see an eye dropper full of their daily words and actions so we rely on others to keep us informed..

We also must remember that in this day and age that digital manipulations has created a stream of deception where even a picture is no longer worth a thousand words but a thousand questions with the first one being, Is this Real? That is why one needs to seek the Lord’s Wisdom in everything we see, hear or are led to believe..

Yes it true I only touched on a couple of the issues and the candidates do have extreme different view on many of the other issues which have been tailored by others around them so that they may speak to the American people’s emotional responses…

One piece of scripture from 2 Corinthians 11 that keeps coming to my heart especially in these last day,

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.”

We see do see the stark differences between the two candidates as they portray themselves in this election race yet it is only God who can bring to light the things that are hidden in the dark.. And the wisdom of God will give His Children not only to see the stark difference between the two candidates but give them the wisdom to see the words that are spoke with deception from both sides For even the evil one will make something sound so right and Godly yet is far from His Word..

There is a Candidate that states “Hope is not a strategy” Yet as Christian Hope is not only a major characteristic of Love it is the essence of our belief, it is our strategy that even Creation is subjected in as Scripture reveals to us.

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13

“And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Roman 5

“For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” Romans 8

“So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul; If you have found it, there is a prospect, And your hope will not be cut off.” Proverbs 24

As an unbiased observer, I see the lies and deception from both sides, where they are tickling the ears of their voters, as they appeal to the emotions of Americans. That is why one must be in long prayer and supplication seeking the Lord’s wisdom. The Lord can and will reveal the one He will put into power.. He will bring forth into the light that which is hidden in the dark for God has already appointed the man to be president and prophecy must unfold before Jesus can/will return.

I hope this makes sense for it hard for me to write what is upon my heart, May the Spirit of the Lord be with you and all His Children as He gives all those who ask the wisdom and understanding needed to vote in this election as well as the strength to follow the convictions He places upon ones hearts..

It is sad that standing up for the unborn, as I did in my last response, is not considered “prayerful or Spirit-filled.” Four years ago, when this candidate was elected, I wrote, describing this future administration, “No Hope for the Unborn.”

Oh Scott I am sorry if I made you feel that I removed it because of your stance on abortion and the unborn and it not that you stood up for them . It because only one point/side is being seen, both candidates have done great injustice to the unborn.. So to condemn one is not a prayerful Spirit-filled response for the Lord would reveal that both have hurt His unborn Children.. Both have profited off it someway or another may it be financially or politically Personally or Corporately. So if we are to keep our integrity and stand by our convictions we must see the lies and truths that sit on both sides of this political race.. Only the Lord our God can open ones eyes.. As for the issue of abortion both candidates have made this void issue since neither have been truthful in these matters and both have done great injustices to the unborn children.. My heart grieves as I see Brothers and Sisters in Christ debating on who is for the unborn and that is why your post was removed.. Since both sides have done injustice your post could of kindled the spark of debate/argument.

I am truly sorry if I offended you but I must do what the Lord places on my heart to do after much prayer and suplication.. I do not take these matters lightly, I prayerfully consider all sides and perpectives as the Lord reveals to me.. God bless you
