I am A Sojourner

December 30, 2020

I am aware of all sides of every debate and belief that is causing division in this world.

I stand with Christ and Scripture tells me not to fear anyone on this earth so I do not; not to listen and be swayed by conspiracies so I do not.

There is only One I trust and that is God Almighty and what He puts on my heart.

In all my years upon this earth and every conspiracy I have heard, every fearful time that has past by, He has kept me on the narrow path and I have not and will not veer to the left or the right.

He is my strength.

I am only a sojourn in this world and the cares of this world are fleeting.

My focus will always be upon Him and share the truth that He has me share.

For my heart and eyes are upon the heavenly things not the earthly.

Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation

Can I Be Invisible Again?

December 13, 2019

For years I hid in the shadows of others, content in doing only what was asked of me. Then I was told to step out of my comforter zone and become the person I could be. To create a true social life, that was not dependent on others.

I stepped out and suddenly, I was over loaded with social activates and volunteer work.  I was approached by many to help them in different situations.  As life becomes more complex with deadlines and obligations, my heart races with anxiety and panic attacks.

invisable

Can I not be invisible again?

The more I step out the more my anxiety builds to the point of tears.  After every meeting, after every encounter my mind races with what I may have said wrong, how I may have hurt another person.   Each minute runs through my head as I dissect every second of every encounter.

While on the outside to others I may seem confident on the inside I am breaking into pieces.   I do not want to intentionally or unintentionally cause problems or hurt people but somehow I always believe I have.

SAD

Can I not be invisible again?

In my quiet place, with my head hung down in my hands, I weep for I do not know what to say or do if I have.  I know that many people are good yet in my walk in life I always seem to come across those that like to place the blame on me. Maybe I am doing something wrong; maybe I am a bad person. I do not know.  What I do know is that these feelings of doom, and gloom as well as regret and guilt over whelm me after each encounter I have.

PRAYING

Oh how I wish I could be invisible again.

I know that if I do then I give into the darkness that is trying to keep me from being who I am meant to be.   So I will continue to pray for the strength to overcome and the God’s peace beyond understanding.  I will not let anxiety, and depression over take me. I will rise up and overcome it. For I am strong in the Lord, and I believe He is holding me up each minute of the day especially when I am at  my weakest. For through Him I am strong.

CANDLE

I will not be invisible; I will be a beacon of light for His Glory.

Beware The Snares Set for Us.

March 22, 2018

Before you read this, I beseech you to seek the Lord Our God in prayer. Ask Jesus for the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit and His Understanding of the perilous time we live in. For His guidance in all truth and understanding and please test the Spirit behind this post.

Scripture warns us many time to beware of the snares that are set before us.  We must remember that in this chaotic world the devil is out to devour us.  Use our weakness against us for he is like a roaring lion.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.  Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

1 Peter 5

We know that we are coming on to the midnight hour of Jesus return for scripture tells us in the last days what to expect and how we are to respond.

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:  For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,  traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,  having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!  For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,  always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3

We are seeing this more then ever as the internet is used to manipulate and deceive the world.  Causing lies and rumours to run wild.  Allowing evil to creep into our household and take captive those that are not fully aware of the evil ones deception to use them and manipulate them to be snared in the traps he has laid in this world. Thus why we are called to turn away from such people.  Yet the evil one is tricky so how do we know for sure who is true and who is not. Thus we are called to diligently do this.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

1 John 4

For the evil one is great at masquerading himself and his ministers as a beacon of truth as scripture tells us.

And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

2 Corinthians 11

Thus why we must be diligent to test every spirit, every word of those who declare themselves to be ministers of God and followers of Christ.  Every anointed believer in Christ would welcome this test of their words. Only those that are not being truthful or speaking from their own resources would be afraid of the testing their words against the Truth (through searching the scriptures and seeking God’s Wisdom in prayer).  Only one who is afraid of being caught in a lie would hinder the Children of God, the redeemed of Christ to diligently test the spirit behind their words, deeds and leadership.

Jesus warns us that the devil speaks from his own resources and thus those who lie also speak from their own resources shared to them from the father of lies.

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

John 8 (Jesus’ words)

We are called to be meek and wise for we are among wolves.

Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Mathew 10 (Jesus’ words)

gabby and Robert 010

Scripture teaches us in many passages how to be wise.

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.  But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.  This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.  For where envy and self-seeking exist,confusion and every evil thing are there.  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.  Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

James 3

We must not fall into the foolishness of this world for it will lead to our destruction as Proverbs warns us numerous times.

Whoever hides hatred has lying lips, And whoever spreads slander is a fool.

Proverbs 10

A fool’s wrath is known at once, But a prudent man covers shame.

Proverbs 12

In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride, But the lips of the wise will preserve them.

The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way, But the folly of fools is deceit

A wise man fears and departs from evil, But a fool rages and is self-confident.

Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding, But what is in the heart of fools is made known.

Proverbs 14

A fool has no delight in understanding, But in expressing his own heart.

A fool’s lips enter into contention, And his mouth calls for blows.

Proverbs 18

A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.

Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Proverbs 29

Social Media has open the door and set the snare for many to fall in to the trap  of foolishness.  We must be careful not to fall into these traps and diligent to seek the Spirit of the Lord to give us the wisdom to avoid them.  For Jesus is our Strength and our Salvation yet we must seek His face and Walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit to avoid these traps. For every minute of every day the evil one and his dominion are roaring like lions ready to devour us.

We do not have to fear him for Jesus has overcome him but we must abide in Christ for He is our protection The Great Shepard that will guard His sheep and keep the evil one at bay.

I hope this makes sense for it is hard for me to express what is upon my heart. May the Spirit of the Lord give you His wisdom and understanding as He protects you from the evil ones snares laid out for those on the earth.
